Please read this policy before paying. Registration fees for the RCELL International Conference 2027 are non-refundable, except in the cases described below.
1. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to registration fees paid for the RCELL International Conference 2027 (Literature in the Age of AI: Posthumanism, Digital Humanities, and Ecological Futures), held online on 13–14 February 2027 and organised by RCELL, Research Centre for English Language and Literature. It covers fees paid by paper presenters and by participants without a paper.
2. Registration Fees Are Non-Refundable
Registration, fee payment and abstract submission are completed together in one step. Once a registration fee has been paid, it is not refunded, including where a registrant later decides not to attend, does not submit an abstract, or does not present.
Registrations cannot be transferred to another person or to a future conference edition.
3. Duplicate Payments
If you pay the same fee twice by mistake, please write to conference@rcell.co.in with both payment IDs. The duplicate payment will be refunded to the original payment method, after deducting the payment gateway charges, which cannot be recovered.
4. Payments of the Wrong Amount
If you pay less than the applicable fee, we will email you the exact balance, which can be paid through the same payment page. Your registration is confirmed once the full fee has been received. If you pay more than the applicable fee, please write to us and the difference will be refunded, after deducting gateway charges.
5. Academic Integrity
By registering, you declare that your abstract, and any later full paper, is your original work, discloses any use of generative AI, and relates to the conference theme. No refund is made where this declaration is breached, including in cases of plagiarism or undisclosed AI-generated content.
6. Cancellation by RCELL
If RCELL cancels the conference in its entirety, all registration fees will be refunded, net of payment gateway charges that cannot be recovered. If the conference is postponed, registrants may either keep their registration for the new dates or request a refund.
7. How to Request a Refund
Write to conference@rcell.co.in with the subject line “Refund Request: [Your Full Name]”, giving your full name, the email address used in the registration form, and your payment ID(s). Requests are acknowledged within five working days, and approved refunds are processed within 10 to 14 working days to the original payment method.
8. International Payments
Refunds on international payments are made in the original currency and through the original payment method where possible. Differences caused by exchange rates or bank charges are not the responsibility of RCELL.
